why ThirteenFour?

A lot of people ask where the name ThirteenFour comes from, so here's a quick history lesson:

Before the usage of the pound as the basic unit of English currency, the mark was used instead. Where there were 240 old pence in the pound, there were 160 pence in the mark - a total of 13 shillings and fourpence. So 13/4 is another way of writing 'a mark'.
